Tulsa Flight Training offers an effective, in-person ground school for both the Private Pilot and the Instrument written exams.
Private Pilot
The Private Pilot ground school is approximately 8 weeks long, with two classes per week.

Sunday: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Thursday: 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
At the end of the course, you will be given the proper endorsement to take the FAA knowledge exam. This course is taught by an Advanced Ground Instructor and will not only prepare you to pass the FAA knowledge exam, but also help make you a safer, more confident pilot. Taking this class while simultaneously taking flight training lessons is perfectly acceptable and will speed up the timeline of acquiring your certificate.

The 'No Materials' option is for those who prefer to use an iPad or Tablet.
Instrument Rating:
The Instrument ground school is approximately 6 weeks long, with two classes per week.

Taught by our Instrument Ground Instructor, this ground school goes beyond preparing you for the FAA written exam. It equips you with the knowledge, situational awareness, and decision-making skills necessary to confidently and safely navigate IFR environment. At the end of the course, you will be given the proper endorsement to take the FAA knowledge exam.

Disclaimer:
The endorsement will be issued only upon successful completion of the final exam. If the exam is not passed, students will have the opportunity to retest after meeting with the ground instructor to review and address any areas of deficiency.
